The PYD/PKK militants (YPG) have most certainly launched their ethnic cleansing. We cannot move on without emphasizing this point. This is not some sort of legend or myth. We are not saying this because we wish to throw mud or have a smear campaign so that they make the PYD/PKK weary nor do we spread false news. Our effort focuses on exposing the horrifying truth which must be faced so that the horrifying truth can be changed.
The majority of the 26,000 refugees of Tel Abyad have been threatened by PYD militants claims such as “We will reveal the coordinates of your villages to the Americans saying that they are ISIS hot beds and they will bomb you”, forcing thousands to flee. Another important part also says that there is a rush of ethnic cleansing. When asked, to “Explain this in front of the cameras” their response is simply, “we can do this only when we lose all hope of returning to our homeland”, their reaction confirming fears of revenge by the PYD/PKK/YPG.
The camp officials who deal with refugees in particular are also reluctant as a result of the PKK, do not speak “openly”, in particular when listening to the stories of the exile and “ethnic cleansing” realities from the Arabs and the Turkmens from Tel Abyad, refraining from speaking to the media.
The PYD leader Salih Muslim (a registered dictator, whose exiled his own brother because he was “religious”) is lying on the issue of Tel Abyad. “The refugees in Turkey are returning to Tel Abyad” is a lie. Turkey has opened the doors but it has also opened the way out, however, the PYD/PKK/YPG for some particular reason, let a few hundred people through Tel Abyad, but gave the order to “wait” to others.
If we raise this case of ethnic cleansing, if we talk and write about “ethnic cleansing in Tel Abyad” everywhere, than PYD/PKK may step back. But if we prefer to say “They would never commit such a crime” like PKK fanatics do, then the exile tragedy can become permanent and another page can be added to the world’s history of ethnic cleansing.
I think that those who reject our claim saying to us “you are lying”, in effect are revolting against the questions their own conscience raises. The “what if they are right” question is being suppressed with the myth of the heroic PYD forces who defeated ISIS.
ISIS is of course a supremely cruel organization, and particularly cruel to Islam. However, this doesn’t mean we need to kiss and forgive everyone who has fought with ISIS. People with honour cannot say “We are so thankful to those whoe replaced ISIS that we can even tolerate their racist terror”. We reject, “Off with the ISIS’s bloody unbelievers head fetishism, long live the racist PYD/PKK ethnic cleansing!”. We reject both.
